Grow WU is the brain child of a MIL-PRENEUR COUPLE who are the parents of an enthusiastic & ebullient TEENAGER.
Vinay, a hardcore Fauji is an alumni of World-class military training academies and a Kargil war veteran. A gritty & fiercely competitive sportsman (JACK of all games) who is currently testing his endurance in marathons. An MBA (Finance & Operations) is a perfect antithesis to his passion for sports. His life tenet – “Some people dream of success…..while I must wake up & work hard at it”.
Deepa, a third generation Fauji with proven expertise in training and motivating youngsters. Gifted with interpersonal skills, she excelled in MBA (HR & Marketing). An accomplished multi-tasker who is a dilettante & a passionate chef, her other interests include Blogging, Painting & Reading. She is a strong believer in the “Law of Abundance”.
Our Story
Co- curricular activities like sports, arts or any other recreational skills nourish children and stimulate them to become an ALLROUNDER in true sense. Indulging in these activities regularly enhances their life skills (camaraderie, confidence, integrity, responsibility, etc) besides the inherent health benefits (physical, emotional, psychological & social benefits).
However, being working parents ourselves, we saw our son face a constant hindrance in pursuing his passion on numerous occasions due to our regular transfers (every two years). Our struggles entailed searching for the right Coach (Basketball/Tennis) or Tutor (Keyboard/Abacus) followed by finding safe & reliable transport to reach Learning Centres. Many a times he was constrained to forego his practice and classes which left him heart-broken.
The seed for Grow WU (Grow With Us) was thus planted in our minds. Similar sentiments expressed by friends & peers convinced us that this challenge is universal and needs to be addressed comprehensively. Determined to solve this conundrum led to GROW WU, a one stop Hyper-Local Learning cum Mobility platform which spurs your child to reach the pinnacle of his/her chosen learning experience.
